This as of yet un-named 1.37-acre property was purchased in 1999 for $1,007,000.
The site was being considered for condo’s and the District felt that it was
important to keep this site available to the public as open space. A ranch house
on the property has since been demolished and planning for park development is
taking place. A large frame house known as the “Harms house” was razed in the
fall of 2002.
