NAVAJO PARK

This very small 0.6-acre park was purchased in 1955 as a result of a successful referendum, which resulted in the purchase of 17 park sites. Playground development soon took place. In 1989 the Village of Skokie installed an underground storage tank to help alleviate neighborhood flooding. The site was redeveloped in 1991 at a cost of $41,000 and included a new playground, new benches, some walks and a half court basketball court and landscape improvements.
