MCNALLY PARK

This 5.3-acre park was purchased in 1955 as a result of a successful referendum, which resulted in the purchase and development of 17 park sites. McNally is located adjacent to Middleton School, and is effectively a school-park site. The park was developed to include open space and ball diamonds, as well as a traditional playground in the southeast corner. The park was redeveloped in 1994-95 at a cost of $269,000, including $13,767 in School District 73.5 funds. Redevelopment included a new playground, new picnic tables, benches, drinking fountain, trash receptacles, vehicle barricades, relocated and rebuilt ball diamond and landscape improvements.
