Hamlin Park is an 8.5-acre site leased from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) through 2032. Development in the 1960’s included a brick shelter, a playground and a gravel parking lot. Located in the southern portion of the village, the site now includes an irrigated soccer field, a ball field, a new picnic shelter, playground and basketball and tennis courts. The park was redeveloped in 1992 at a cost of $242,000. The shelter was replaced in 1995 at a cost of $116,000.
