CHIPPEWA PARK

The small park known as Chippewa Park was purchased and developed in 1955 as a result of a referendum during which seventeen park sites were created. This 0.3-acre park was redeveloped in 1993 at a cost of $57,000. Redevelopment included all new playground, new picnic tables, benches, trash receptacles, drinking fountains, new basketball outfits on existing court, new interior walk, fence replacements and minor drainage improvements and landscape improvements including trees, shrubs and sodding.
